Represented a major rail infrastructure and individuals in relation to Police and HSE investigations into the Ladbroke Grove rail accident.
- Represented the owner of a leisure company to trial in manslaughter and health and safety prosecutions. The owner was acquitted of both the manslaughter and health and safety offences alleged against him.
- Represented companies and individuals at inquests, public and other inquires and prosecutions relating to the rail accidents at Southall, Ladbroke Grove, Hatfield and Potters Bar, and other major incidents.
- Represented numerous construction, leisure, quarrying, waste, crane, healthcare, manufacturing and public utility organisations and their directors on major incidents including numerous multi-fatality incidents.
- Represented a German national doctor under suspicion of two gross negligence manslaughter charges arising from one night’s locum work in the UK.
- Represented a doctor in relation to fraud allegations against his employer, including in proceedings before the GMC.
- Represented a major meat contractor in food safety investigations.
- Represented the First Officer of a cruise ship in investigations by the Marine Coast agency in relation to alleged navigation offences.
- Represented public and private sector companies following major oil diesel and chemical spillages and river pollution.
- Represented a nationwide shoe retailer and its directors in an environment agency prosecution arising out of alleged offences concerning the disposal of controlled waste.
- Regularly advises directors, SHE and HR managers on health and safety and employment policies and procedures in relation to issues.
