As a trainee at Kennedys, you will develop a mix of experience and skills to set up your career as a solicitor. Our ability to consistently offer the majority of trainees positions on qualification is down to a growing firm that produces newly qualified lawyers who are competent, confident and commercially driven.
You will be given a good level of responsibility early on, dealing with varied areas of work and will be a valued member of the team from the start, working alongside experienced solicitors and partners in a relaxed and open plan environment.

Training contracts for 2016
The application process for 2016 training contracts opens on 1st November 2013 and closes on the 31st July 2014.
As we have filled the majority of our 2015 Training Contract positions it is our intention to fill the remaining positions through our 2014 summer placement scheme and therefore we will not be accepting training contract applications for 2015 outside of this. Please see our summer placement information here >>
The selection process
If you progress through our selection process you will be asked to complete an online ability test on critical thinking.
If you successfully complete this and your application is selected for the next stage you will be invited to a short telephone interview. Following this, successful candidates will be invited to attend one of our Assessment Days which includes a group exercise, written exercise and partner interview.
We offer approximately 12 training contracts in London and eight throughout our regional offices - Birmingham, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Manchester and Sheffield.
If you apply for a 2016 Training Contract you will hear from us throughout August 2014. Dates for our Assessment Days will be confirmed in May 2014, but will be held in September 2014.
